Profitabilitas dalam Industri Wholesale Trade: Faktor-Faktor yang Berkontribusi terhadap ROE

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the significant effect of WCTAR, DER, WCTO and SG on ROE partially and simultaneously in wholesale trade companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The research method used was causal research method. The data collection method was carried out by documentation method. The data collection technique used secondary data. The sampling technique used purposive sampling from a population of 48 companies to six companies as respondents. The data analysis tool used multiple linear regression analysis. The data analysis done using the SPSS version 22 application program. The result of the research state that (1) WCTAR has a significant negative effect on ROE, (2) DER has a significant negative effect on ROE, (3) WCTO has no significant effect on ROE, (4) SG has a significant positive effect on ROE. It can be concluded that the variables WCTAR, DER, WCTO and SG affected the ROE variable by 61.9 percent whereas the remaining 38.1 percent affected by other factors/variables that are not used in this research.
